MARATHONGRUPPENS ALLMÄNNA VILLKOR
Information om ändringar i allmänna villkor med anledning av COVID-19-utbrottet
Under år 2020 drabbades Sverige och stora delar av världen av ett utbrott av viruset COVID-19. Hur detta virus kommer att påverka lopp som ska arrangeras av Marathongruppen 2021 är ännu inte känt. Marathongruppen är en ideell verksamhet som finansierar den ideella idrottsrörelsen. I egenskap av ideell verksamhet är vi inte tillåtna att bygga upp kapitalreserver – allt eventuellt överskott ska tillfalla idrotten. Samtidigt är Marathongruppens verksamhet omfattande och det förberedande arbete med ett lopp pågår i 12 månader inför detsamma. Vi har anpassat vår verksamhet efter det rådande läget, men har ingen möjlighet att fortsätta arrangera evenemang utan att dela risken för förändringar i våra evenemang eller inställda evenemang med anledning av COVID-19 med våra deltagare. Kostnader associerade till ett evenemang tas löpande under året, bland annat i form av löner till anställda, hyror, IT, försäkringar och marknadsföring. Våra Allmänna villkor innehåller för oss villkor som är absolut nödvändiga för att kunna bedriva vår verksamhet. För 2021 års upplagor av våra evenemang har vi infört ytterligare villkor som reglerar vilka rättigheter du som anmäld deltagare har i olika scenarier. Vi har inte möjlighet att ta emot din anmälan om du inte godkänner dessa villkor, men hoppas att du med oss vill dela ambitionen om att genomföra fantastiska evenemang 2021, samt hjälpa oss fortsätta finansiera den ideella idrottsrörelsen.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RACES ORGANISED BY MARATHONGRUPPEN
Information about changes in our terms and conditions due to the Corona pandemic
During 2020 Sweden and large parts of the world were affected by an outbreak of the virus COVID-19. How this virus will affect races which are organised in 2021 by Marathongruppen is still not known. Marathongruppen is a non-profit organisation which financially supports non-profit sports clubs and associations. As a non-profit organisation, we are not allowed to accumulate capital reserves – any profits must go back into sport. At the same time Marathongruppen’s activities are extensive and preparatory work for a race is required 12 months before it takes place. We have adapted our operations to the current situation, but have no possibility to continue to arrange events if we don’t share the risk of alterations to our events, or events cancelled because of COVID-19, with our participants.
The costs associated with an event are incurred on an ongoing basis throughout the year, and include, employees’ salaries, rentals, IT, insurance and marketing. Our Terms and Conditions contain conditions which are absolutely necessary for us to be able to run our organisation. For our 2021 events, we have introduced additional conditions which regulate which rights you, as a registered participant, have in various scenarios. We are not able to accept your registration if you do not accept these conditions, but we hope that you share our ambition to organise fantastic events in 2021, as well as helping us to continue to financially support non-profit sports clubs and associations.
